Herzing University announced it is addressing the growing demand for nurses in northern Illinois by expanding its network of clinical partners in the area, providing more local options for students to complete their nursing clinical requirements. Rolling Hills Manor and The Grove at the Lake, both in Zion, are currently working with the university and Herzing plans to add several more Illinois partners in the next year, according to a news release.
“More than half of our current nursing students are coming from northern Illinois, and we know how important it is to provide them with clinical sites that are close to their homes,” Kenosha Campus President Jeff Hill said in the release. “Many of our students are already working full-time jobs and we hope by adding new clinical sites, in addition to offering our new evening BSN program, we will make it more convenient for them to advance their careers.”
